FasTracKids Educational Goals

Edicational Goals

1. To Encourage a Lifelong Love of Learning:

A lifelong love of learning stems from insatiable curiosity and continued stimulation. Children love FasTracKids® because our programs engage their minds and fuel their imagination. Your child will experience the joy of success and as a result, strive to reach new educational heights. Through active engagement in their learning process, they will develop an unquenchable desire to know more. This desire turns into a passion for learning that ultimately leads to continued success as children become life-long learners.
Edicational Goals

2. To Teach the Application and Transfer of Knowledge:

An important skill for success is the ability to use information you have learned in multiple ways. FasTracKids, supports your child by giving them the opportunity to not just memorize information but to deepen their understanding of new concepts and ultimately the world. Your child will learn to classify and categorize new concepts and experiences. Then they will be able to apply this knowledge to challenging everyday situations. A student’s ability to receive information and create a relevant connection to a new situation shows a higher level of thought and that  supports their achievement in school and beyond.

3. To Build Communication and Speaking Skills:

Some of the most successful individuals boast strong communication skills; the FasTracKids curriculum teaches your child how to make the most out of theirs. Each class has an intentional focus on improving speaking and listening skills. For example, throughout each lesson, children are encouraged to use full sentences and new vocabulary. Through the use of role-play and group activities, the children practice negotiation skills and join together as a team. Moreover, each class children are asked to organize their thoughts into short presentations for their classmates. These presentations are videotaped providing an avenue for children to critique their own work and that of their classmates. Ultimately children leave FasTracKids confident and able to communicate effectively.

4. To Develop Creative Thinking and Problem Solving:

The ability to think creatively and solve problems ranks high on the list of skills employers are looking for. FasTracKids curriculum promotes active and reactive thought by engaging children in exciting subjects and activities. Experiments and hands-on activities make the most of your child’s creative problem solving, critical thinking and expressive speech. Furthermore, children are given the opportunity to join together to strengthen their ability to work toward a common goal. These experiences will provide your child with the skills and the confidence they need to contribute effectively to any team and solve any problem.

5. To Promote Leadership and Personal Growth:

Throughout your child’s life, they will find themselves in positions where they need to provide and follow leadership. FasTracKids prepares your child by letting them assume positive leadership roles as they role-play and interact in group situations. They also are given the chance to follow someone else’s lead and become a functional team member. Small groups are responsible for decision-making and follow-through as they complete their goal. This practice of interpersonal and leadership skills helps students be motivated in setting and attaining personal goals in school and in life.

6. To Prepare Children for School and for Life:

When your child enters the workforce, chances are that they will be working in jobs that have not been created yet. Your child will need the ability to think creatively in order to succeed in our rapidly changing world. The FasTracKids classroom is a child-centered, teacher guided environment, where children are encouraged to be instrumental in their own learning. The incorporation of an interactive whiteboard, The FasTrack® Learning Station, gives them confidence to operate and effectively use technology. Our curriculum combines hands-on activities, role plays, experiments and videotaping to develop a fun, interactive lesson. Your child will grow in their self-confidence and self-esteem, building a solid foundation for future learning.
